Background

I grew up in O'ahu, Hawai'i, surrounded by adventure and the spirit of Aloha, which nurtured my respect for inclusion and curiosity. My love for movement began at 12, when I joined an indoor volleyball club and learned the strategic aspects of blocking and positioning. This passion led me to stage performances, training with 24-VII Danceforce in Kaneohe and later in Los Angeles, where I enjoyed an 11-year commercial dance and theatre career. Though a 2016 injury altered my path, I continue to explore movement in new and creative ways.

I am a movement professional, creative producer, and theatre manager, passionate about helping audiences connect with movement that enhances a production's story and marketing. As a retired dancer with a disability, I bring a unique perspective and strong work ethic to every project. My experience in commercial dance and theatre equips me with creative and entrepreneurial skills, especially in development and strategic planning. My specialty is ensuring physical movement is supportive, emotionally engaging, visually digestible, and accessible, making the production and its assets more impactful for all audiences. 

I hold a BA in Performing Arts from the LEAP program at Saint Mary’s College of California and an MFA in Theatrical Management & Producing from Columbia University in the City of New York. My education encompasses the commercial, non-profit, UK, and international markets. Selected courses highlighting my diverse knowledge include Advertising for Theatre, Human Resources in the Arts, Law & Theatre, Press & Publicity, and Ticketing Analytics.
