Background

I grew up on O'ahu, Hawai'i, surrounded by adventure and the spirit of Aloha, which nurtured my respect for inclusion and curiosity. My love for movement began at 12 when I joined an indoor volleyball club, where I learned to think strategically about blocking and positioning. This passion eventually led to live stage performances as I trained with 24-VII Danceforce in Kaneohe and later in Los Angeles, enjoying an 11-year career in commercial dance and theatre. Although a 2016 injury altered my path, I continue to explore movement in new ways. 

I am a movement professional, producer, and theatre manager. I specialize in helping audiences interpret movement that aligns with the story and purpose of a production or marketing campaign. As a retired dancer with a disability, I bring a unique perspective and strong work ethic to every project. My education and experience in commercial dance and theatre equip me with diverse entrepreneurial and creative skills, particularly in creative development and strategic planning, ensuring that physical movement is supportive, emotionally engaging, visually digestible, and accessible.

I hold a BA in Performing Arts from the LEAP program at Saint Mary’s College of California, and I am currently completing my MFA in Theatrical Management & Producing at Columbia University in the City of New York. My education spans the commercial, non-profit, UK, and other international markets.
