WeSoHapa & Actors Equity Association Presents: MIXED: CHOOSING SIDES
In a time where the buzz word is “DIVERSITY” with casting separations like “Ethnic” vs. “White,” what happens when you’re mixed— when you’re both? True diversity means complete inclusion of all populations. In this concert, we will explore the ideas of presentation versus representation—meaning how one identifies versus how one is labeled or perceived by an audience viewing them and the gray, intersectional space between the two.
The show will be approximately 90 minutes, no intermission at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Peter Norton Symphony Space. This event will be ASL interpreted and is open to Equity members only.
